The Indian Railways has announced the cancellation of multiple trains on Wednesday, 30 October 2023. The train cancellation announced by the southern zone of Indian Railways due to a train accident occurred on Sunday, 29 October.

The Indian Railways has fully cancelled multiple trains. These cancellations consist of various local, express, and special trains. Whereas the trains that are partially cancelled also consist of short-terminated trains.

Train Services Disrupted After Collision in Andhra Pradesh

The accident occurred when a Visakhapatnam-Ragada passenger train hit another Visakhapatnam-Ragada train travelling on the same route near Kothavalasa railway station. The collision derailed 3 coaches of the train.

After the accident of passenger trains in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, Southern Railway announces the list of cancelled trains:

  • 17239-Guntur to Visakhapatnam
  • 17267-Kakinada Port to Visakhapatnam
  • 17268- Visakhapatnam to Kikinada port
  • 07466- Rajahmundry to Visakhapatnam
  • 07467-Visakhapatnam to Rajahmundry
  • 12718- Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam
  • 12717- Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada

The south-central railway annouced the cancellation of the trains listed below

  • Secunderabad-Manmad (17064) 
  • Manmad-Secinderabad (17063)
  • Visakhapatnam-Tirupati (08583) 
  • Tirupati-Visakhapatnam (08584)
